Com previsão de máximas de 39ºC, ação visa proteger a saúde da população, com prioridade para pessoas em situação de rua, idosos e crianças
A chegada de uma nova onda de calor associada a baixos índices de umidade do ar vai mobilizar novas ações do Governo de São Paulo para distribuição de água potável no centro da capital. A partir desta sexta-feira (10), agentes da Defesa Civil Estadual e equipes da Sabesp farão atendimento com caminhão com bebedouro na Praça da Sé e tendas no entorno do Theatro Municipal.
A distribuição de água em copos e a oferta de bebedouros será feita das 11h às 15h até a próxima segunda (13), inclusive no final de semana. Com previsão de máximas de 39ºC e umidade do ar em torno de 30%, a ação da gestão paulista visa proteger a saúde da população, com prioridade para pessoas em situação de rua, idosos e crianças.
A distribuição de água à população será concentrada no período do dia em que o calor excessivo e a baixa umidade podem causar mais problemas de saúde e exigem mais hidratação. A Defesa Civil também também vai orientar o público a evitar a exposição direta ao sol nos horários mais críticos e umidificar ambientes fechados.
As autoridades estaduais também recomendam o uso de protetor solar e procura por atendimento imediato em unidades de saúde em casos de insolação, grande dificuldade para respirar, alterações bruscas de pressão arterial e desidratação. As pessoas devem evitar atividades físicas ao ar livre entre 10h e 16h e manter animais de estimação em locais protegidos.
A onda de calor acontece em razão de uma grande massa de ar quente e seco que afeta a maior parte do Brasil. A previsão é que o calor intenso se mantenha até a próxima segunda, mas o cenário pode se estender. A Defesa Civil também recomenda atenção a áreas de vegetação seca, uma vez que o risco para incêndios florestais será elevado.
Nas demais regiões do território paulista, os sistemas locais de Defesa Civil poderão ser acionados para iniciativas similares. Simultaneamente, a Prefeitura de São Paulo também vai distribuir água e frutas em dez estruturas instaladas em todas as regiões da capital.
Interior com até 42ºC
A onda de calor será ainda mais intensa em algumas regiões do interior de São Paulo. Os termômetros devem marcar 42ºC nas regiões de São José do Rio Preto, Araçatuba, Presidente Prudente e Marília. Para Araraquara, Barretos, Bauru, Franca, Litoral Norte e Ribeirão Preto, a máxima será de 40°C.
Em São José dos Campos, a temperatura pode chegar a 39ºC. Já nas regiões de Campinas e Sorocaba, os termômetros devem marcar 36ºC, com previsão de mesma máxima para as cidades da Baixada Santista, Vale do Ribeira e entorno de Itapeva.
